Yoga in the Sculpture Garden
Jeneen Piccuirro leads a one-hour, all-levels yoga session in the Kreeger Museum’s outdoor Sculpture Garden. The practice takes place in a serene garden setting and is designed to bring together movement, meditation, sound, and a connection to the surrounding art and landscape.
Piccuirro is an artist, teacher, belly dancer, and certified yoga instructor whose work incorporates dance, sound healing, visual art, and meditation. She has taught at institutions including American University, Georgetown University, Swarthmore College, Dartmouth College, the Chautauqua Institution, and The Kreeger Museum, and now leads immersive workshops and retreats in the Washington, D.C., area and abroad.

What to bring: Participants should bring their own yoga mat, water, and any other yoga props they would like to use.
Outdoor conditions: The class is held outdoors in direct sun, so sun-appropriate clothing and accessories are recommended, including hats and sunglasses. The program proceeds when the temperature is above freezing. If severe weather or other inclement conditions requires cancellation, refunds will be issued.
Restrictions: Cellphone use and photography or video recording are prohibited during the practice.
Parking and access: Two-hour parking is available in the museum lot, with additional accessible parking in the forecourt.
Cancellation policy: Attendees are asked to cancel as early as possible so their spaces can be offered to others. Refunds are not available within 24 hours of the program.
