BERMUDA SEARCH PARTY: ATLANTIC ADIEU TOUR
Bermuda Search Party, an energetic Boston-based band known for their uplifting indie-funk sound and live shows described as a “celebration of life,” will bring their Atlantic Adieu Tour to Songbyrd Music House on September 17, 2026. The group, formerly called The Q-Tip Bandits, formed in college and built a following in the Boston DIY scene. Their self-produced debut LP *Melancholy Flowers* (2022) showcased the vocal and songwriting talents of guitarist Leo Son and bassist Claire Davis, along with trumpet and trombone from Maclin Tucker and Hoyt Parquet. After extensive touring that included stops at Boston Calling, Levitate Music Festival, SXSW, and Treefort Music Festival, they recorded their sophomore album *Fools On Parade* with producer Eric Palmquist (half•alive, Tate McRae, Bad Suns, Hunny), released in April 2025 on Nettwerk Music Group. The band toured in support of that album throughout 2025 and earned four Boston Music Awards nominations for Live Act of the Year, Pop Act of the Year, Video of the Year for “Olivia,” and Album of the Year. Joining them is Miki Fiki, the indie-pop project of Midwest transplant Ted Hartog, founded in Nashville in 2017. Miki Fiki blends laid-back grooves reminiscent of Still Woozy with the polished indie-funk of Parcels, incorporating R&B and bedroom-pop instrumentals, bittersweet nostalgic verses, and expansive harmonies, described by Lightning 100 as “indie-pop brilliance.” The opener has toured extensively from college house shows to sold-out rooms across the country.
