Heroic Measures - A Rhizome LARP

Heroic Measures by Daniel Eison and Sam Zeitlin is a live action role play (LARP) about illness, death, and making end-of-life medical decisions for a member of your fantasy adventuring party. This two‑hour game, part of the ongoing Rhizome LARP series at Rhizome DC, blends improv, theater, physical movement, and storytelling. The tone is described as fairly serious and sober, though just as in real life there is plenty of potential for joy and laughter in remembering the life of a loved one. Participants of all experience levels are welcome, from complete newcomers to seasoned veterans.

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Showtimes: One session only, 1:00 PM–3:00 PM.
