Go-Go 50 marks The Washington Ballet’s 50th season with a four-work program celebrating the company’s history while looking toward its future. The performance brings together choreography by Trey McIntyre, Choo San Goh, Edwaard Liang, and Chanel DaSilva, with music ranging from Etta James and Samuel Barber to Michael Torke and Washington, D.C.’s Black Alley.
The centerpiece is the world premiere of *An Artist’s Prayer*, a collaboration between DaSilva and Black Alley that combines classical ballet with the sound, culture, and legacy of D.C. Go-Go. The program also revisits Goh’s *Configurations*, Liang’s rhythmic and calligraphy-inspired *The Art of War*, and McIntyre’s emotionally charged *Blue Until June*, set to the vocals of Etta James.

Artists: Chanel DaSilva is a choreographer, director, entrepreneur, and arts activist whose work focuses on social change, equity, and diversity in the dance field. Choo San Goh was The Washington Ballet’s first resident choreographer. Edwaard Liang is the company’s Artistic Director, and Trey McIntyre has created more than 100 works for companies including The Washington Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet.

Group tickets: Groups of at least 10 can request discounted tickets. The page lists discounts of 10% for groups of 10–15, 15% for groups of 15–20, and 20% for groups of 20 or more. It also describes group tickets as starting as low as $40 in one section and as low as $30 in the group-request form, depending on group size, seats, and availability.
Group ticket ranges: The request form offers preferred per-seat ranges of $30–$60, $61–$80, $81–$100, and $101–$120.
Group logistics: A 15% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve group tickets, with final payment due two weeks before the performance. Payment plans may be arranged. Groups of 15 or more, and orders covering multiple dates, must collect tickets at Will Call. Group buyers can request Orchestra Center, Orchestra Right, Orchestra Left, Balcony Center, Balcony Right, or Balcony Left seating.
