HELADO NEGRO and REYNA TROPICAL present HELADO TROPICAL

On Friday, October 23, 2026, the Black Cat hosts a special collaborative evening presented by Helado Negro and Reyna Tropical, titled Helado Tropical. The event celebrates the debut collaborative album of the same name, a nine-song project that emerged from a spontaneous meeting in June 2024 in North Carolina. What began as a loose studio invitation turned into an immersive three-day exchange, with the two artists building songs in real time—responding to each other’s instincts without rigid roles. The resulting album blends guitars, drum machines, and synthesizers into a sound that defies easy categorization, hovering between ambient and rhythmic, intimate and expansive. The evening promises a live embodiment of that sun-drenched, tender collaboration.
