Marc Douglas Berardo and Walt Wilkins share an intimate evening of songwriting at Hank Dietle’s Tavern. Their music combines folk, country, acoustic rock, blues, humor, and deeply personal storytelling drawn from real lives and lived experience.
Walt Wilkins is a Texas songwriter, producer, poet, and touring troubadour whose work has earned him a reputation as a “songwriter’s songwriter.” His songs have been recorded by Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, Ty Herndon, and other artists. After writing in Nashville and producing records in Austin, Wilkins has been recognized as part of the tradition associated with Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt.
Rhode Island–based performer Marc Douglas Berardo is known for emotionally perceptive songs, memorable characters, and a warm, witty stage presence. His latest album, *The Beauty of This Now*, was recorded in Austin and produced by Ron Flynt and Walt Wilkins. Berardo has performed in listening rooms and festivals and has shared stages with major artists.
