Comedy School Showcase
The DC Improv Comedy School presents its Stand-Up Class Graduation Showcase, featuring students who have spent a month preparing and refining their comedy sets before performing them for a live audience. The showcase is hosted by Chris Coccia and takes place in the DC Improv’s Main Room.

About the Host: Chris Coccia began teaching stand-up at the DC Improv in 2006 after already becoming a regular performer at the venue. He is known for combining prepared material with improvised interaction and for connecting comfortably with a wide range of audiences. His work includes comedy clubs, corporate events, and colleges. He won the 2008 Purina Pet Comedy Challenge, which came with a $10,000 prize, and was invited to perform at the Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson’s Nebraska hometown. He has also appeared on Comedy Central, The Game Show Network, and XM Radio, and is a frequent guest on Philadelphia-area radio programs.
