Horse Feathers

Horse Feathers celebrates the 20th anniversary of its debut album, *Words Are Dead*, with a live performance supporting a deluxe reissue from Kill Rock Stars. The remastered release will be pressed on an exclusive vinyl color and packaged with a reproduction of the band’s original six-song demo CD and a foil-stamped LP jacket.

The anniversary ensemble recreates the album’s intimate mood through restrained dynamics and carefully layered arrangements. The group is led by founding songwriter Justin Ringle and features musicians from River Whyless and Blind Pilot. The performance also reflects Horse Feathers’ broader musical evolution across albums such as *House With No Home*, *Thistled Spring*, *Cynic’s New Year*, and *Appreciation*, while returning to the sound that established the project.
