YOU FOOL! (SINGLE RELEASE SHOW)

DC indie rock band You Fool! brings their dreamy post-rock sound to Songbyrd Music House for a single release show, celebrating new material with a lineup that includes emo-tinged support from Kinoko and the high-energy post-punk of NAYAN, the project of veteran DC rocker Nayan Bhula. Note: You Fool! has drawn comparisons to 1990s alternative legends The Cranberries and modern indie acts Alvvays and Japanese Breakfast, and their debut EP *What is the Meaning of This?* was released in August 2024. NAYAN, led by Nayan Bhula (formerly of GIST and The NRIs), recorded new tracks with J. Robbins at Magpie Cage, with material arriving in early 2026. Kinoko describes their music as DIY emo with a self-conscious, self-irreverent “lotus eater core” aesthetic.
