Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica, a major presence in Washington’s salsa community, brings an evening of Latin dance music to Bossa Bistro + Lounge. The Central American-born percussionist and vocalist performs salsa standards with energy and passion, moving among timbales, congas, and bongos while singing.

Mojica has performed with artists and groups including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto. He is joined by a lively ensemble of musicians for a Friday-night set featuring salsa, bachata, merengue, and more, with dancing encouraged.
