Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively night of Latin music and dancing to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Alfredo Mojica, a prominent figure in the DC salsa community, is a percussionist and vocalist from Central America who has performed from a young age with artists and ensembles including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards in an expressive style. He is joined by a rotating group of accomplished musicians for an energetic set featuring salsa, bachata, merengue, and more. Dancing is encouraged.
