The Pat Bianchi Trio - Hammond B-3 Week

The Pat Bianchi Trio brings Hammond B-3 jazz to Blues Alley during Hammond B-3 Week. Organist Pat Bianchi performs with New York City drummer Colin Stranahan and guitarist Paul Bollenback in a program featuring original compositions, inventive arrangements, and music from Bianchi’s latest release, *Confluence*.

Known for pushing the jazz organ in adventurous new directions, Bianchi draws on the traditions of artists such as Dr. Lonnie Smith and Joey DeFrancesco while developing a forward-looking sound. His career has included tours opening for Steely Dan, collaborations with Pat Martino and Lou Donaldson, and leadership of several acclaimed trios.
