BoomBox brings its electronic-rock sound to Pearl Street Warehouse in an All Good Presents show with Future Joy. The duo, formed by brothers Zion Rock Godchaux and Kinsman MacKay, combines soulful vocals, electric guitar, drum machines, live-mixed computer beats, and original lyrics into groove-driven music made for the dancefloor.

Founded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 2004 by Godchaux, BoomBox has developed a sound that draws from the broad range of music one might hear from a boombox, blending those influences into a distinctive style. Their live performances layer Mackay’s programmed rhythms beneath Godchaux’s guitar work and vocals, while the duo also performs DJ sets at select clubs and festivals.
