Soulful Sounds in Bethesda

Soulful Sounds in Bethesda is a candlelit, Harlem Renaissance-inspired evening combining live music, comedy, vintage glamour, and contemporary style. Presented by Acute Inflections, the event is designed as an alternative to a typical dinner-and-drinks outing, with soulful entertainment, opportunities for connection, and complimentary wine and snacks throughout the performance.

Acute Inflections, a New York City couple, blend the classic elegance associated with Billie Holiday and the modern soul of Erykah Badu. They have performed for more than 50,000 people in sold-out shows across the United States and internationally, and have appeared on HBO and Amazon. Guests are welcome to dress in Gatsby-inspired attire or come in their own personal style. The evening also supports the Renaissance Youth Center, a South Bronx nonprofit providing music education, after-school programming, and tutoring.
