Embodying Sanskrit: Experiencing Yoga Through Language I
Embodying Sanskrit: Experiencing Yoga Through Language I is a workshop at Planet Word Museum that blends yoga with the Sanskrit language, led by yoga and meditation instructor Aparna Sadananda, PhD. Participants will explore Sanskrit not only as a language but as a lived sensory experience, learning the Sanskrit names and meanings of yoga poses (asanas) such as Tadasana (mountain pose) and Chaturanga (four-limbed staff pose) through a curated sequence. The workshop is open to all levels and abilities, with modifications and chair- or wall-supported options offered.
