Yebba
Yebba brings her emotionally powerful, genre-spanning songwriting to The Anthem. Raised in West Memphis, Arkansas, she developed her vocal foundation in church before becoming a widely sought-after collaborator. Her work with Ed Sheeran, PJ Morton, Drake, A$AP Rocky, and Mark Ronson helped establish her as a distinctive vocalist known for combining technical precision with deep emotional intensity.
Her 2021 debut album, *Dawn*, introduced her ability to turn grief into expansive, affecting songs. Yebba’s sophomore album, *Jean*, named for her late grandmother, marks a period of creative independence, forgiveness, and self-reclamation. Written over five years in Arkansas, Dallas, and New York, the album explores love, rage, and healing while retaining the gospel influence and emotional directness central to her music.
