Printmaking with the Hornbake Library Letterpress Studio
Printmaking with the Hornbake Library Letterpress Studio invites participants to explore UMD’s historic letterpress facility and create a broadside using a nineteenth-century hand press. The workshop is part of NextNOW Fest, the University of Maryland’s annual multi-day arts festival, which welcomes the general public and combines performances with hands-on artistic experiences.
The Letterpress Studio is located on the ground floor of Hornbake Library North, across from the entrance to the Info Commons. The event is a general-admission program.
