Alfredo Mojica Group
Alfredo Mojica, a cornerstone of the Washington, D.C. salsa community, brings his renowned group to Bossa Bistro & Lounge for a night of Latin jazz and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Born in Central America, Mojica is a consummate percussionist and vocalist who has performed with legends such as Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto. On stage, he moves seamlessly between timbales, congas, and bongos while belting out salsa classics in his amorous, heart-jolting style. He is joined by an ebullient, first-class roster of musicians, creating a high-energy evening that will have guests dancing to salsa, bachata, merengue, and more.
