Studio Saturday with Aliana Grace Bailey
Studio Saturday with Aliana Grace Bailey is a hands-on, artist-led workshop at Phillips@THEARC, inspired by the Art-Play-Practice program and Sam Gilliam’s distinctive use of fabric and canvas. Interdisciplinary fiber artist Aliana Grace Bailey leads participants through an exploration of fabric-based artmaking, followed by open studio play.
The session is designed as a self-contained experience, so participants may attend this workshop without having joined earlier sessions in the fall. All skill levels are welcome, and materials are supplied. The program also connects to an Art-Play-Practice installation inspired by Sam Gilliam’s *Broad Cape*.
