JOHN HIATT
JOHN HIATT, celebrated singer-songwriter with a career spanning over four decades, brings his deep catalog of soulful, roots-inflected rock to the Birchmere. Known for his literate songcraft and dry wit, Hiatt has released 26 solo albums since his 1974 debut, as well as a collaborative album with the supergroup Little Village. His most recent studio album, *Leftover Feelings*, was recorded with Dobro master Jerry Douglas at historic RCA Studio B in Nashville. Hiatt’s songs have been covered by more than 400 artists, including Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Bob Dylan, and Iggy Pop, underscoring his status as one of America’s most respected songwriters. This performance promises a mix of deep cuts and favorites from a remarkable late-career run.
