Summer Break 2026
Studio Gallery will close for its annual three-week summer break beginning August 11, 2026, and remain closed through September 1, 2026. During this period, the physical gallery space at its Washington, D.C. location will not be open to visitors, and normal operations—including shipping from the gallery’s online store—will pause. The break is scheduled so the gallery can prepare to reopen on September 1 with all new exhibitions, and the gallery has arranged several ways for patrons to stay connected while the doors are shut.
While the gallery is on break, visitors can shop online for works by members of the gallery’s artist cooperative, though the gallery notes that shipping will be delayed until operations resume. Past exhibition catalogues are also available digitally for browsing, and artists interested in joining the cooperative can find application information and submit applications online through the prospective artist page. The gallery also encourages anyone planning to visit after the break to review its regular public hours, which are Wednesdays through Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
