Works from New Orleans’ Stella Jones Gallery comes to Nepenthe Gallery for a special event featuring Kali Jones, who will discuss the careers and highlights of three legacy Black artists and key aspects of art collecting. Kali Jones, from the renowned Stella Jones Gallery in New Orleans, has been collecting and examining fine art by Black artists her entire life; her parents opened the gallery thirty years ago to create a space for Black excellence, educating collectors, museums, and the community on the political, social, and economic impact of Black artists. This partnership offers a focused look at the gallery’s mission and some of its most significant artists.
