Third Thursday at The Phillips Collection offers free extended museum hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on August 20, 2026. The evening includes Spotlight Talks at 6 and 7 p.m., along with the free Soundscape performance by Muse Dodd and Cecily Bumbray from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Visitors can also enjoy food and drinks at the Bread Furst café, which will serve its full menu along with aperitifs, wine, and beer. Nearby partner organizations—IA&A at Hillyer, Studio Gallery, Washington Studio School, Korean Cultural Center, and ADA Art Gallery—will also be participating.

When: Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Showtimes: Spotlight Talks take place at 6 and 7 p.m. Soundscape with Muse Dodd and Cecily Bumbray runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: Free.

Venue: The Phillips Collection.

Gallery Note: The galleries for *Tomorrow the Sun Will Rise: The Phillips Collection Juried Exhibition* will be closed from 5 to 8 p.m. during the event.
