WOODY SEZ: THE LIFE & MUSIC OF WOODY GUTHRIE is a lively, tour-de-force musical about the life and work of Woody Guthrie, the influential folk singer and songwriter whose music became a vehicle for social protest and observation. Through Guthrie’s songs of resistance, hope, resilience, and defiance, the production follows the vibrant true story of an American folk hero whose words and melodies continue to resonate.

The performance features David M. Lutken, a Helen Hayes Award winner recognized for his portrayal of Guthrie. The program includes songs such as “Bound for Glory,” “Pastures of Plenty,” “The Ballad of Tom Joad,” “Deportees,” and “This Land Is Your Land.”
