BIG D & THE KIDS TABLE
Since the pandemic shuttered venues and paused touring, Boston ska-punk stalwarts Big D & The Kids Table have been quiet on the LP front — but in 2026 they return with *The Good Ole American Saturday Night*, their first full-length in five years. The album marks a reunion with producer Joe Gittleman (The Mighty Mighty BossTones), who helmed their classic records *Strictly Rude* and *Fluent In Stroll*, as well as Matt Appleton of Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger, who produced their 2021 album *Do Your Art*. Sharing the bill is East Los Angeles skacore band Matamoska!, formed in 2001 when the L.A. skacore scene was just taking shape, and known for blending older and newer ska styles with Latin, punk, hardcore, and reggae. This all-ages show at Songbyrd Music House promises a high-energy evening of horn-driven punk and eclectic ska.
