Summer 2026 Exhibition Cycle

Seven dynamic exhibitions exploring memory, identity, science, landscape, imagination, and the American experience through painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and installation will open at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center on June 13, 2026. The museum is currently closed while installing new art for the Summer 2026 Exhibition Cycle, and the public is invited to the opening reception on June 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The cycle comprises eight distinct shows: *A. Brockie Stevenson: An American Vision*, *Ghost in the Machine: Works by Timothy Makepeace*, *Where Water Keeps Time: Graphite Drawings by Janis Goodman*, *Susan Goldman: Prima Vista*, *Bonnie Lautenberg: ARTISTICA! Where Hollywood Meets Art History*, *Richard Dana: People, Places and Otherwise*, and *Gail Rebhan: What Questions Do We Ask?*.

When: Opening June 13, 2026; the museum reopens on that date after installation.
Opening Reception: June 13, 2026, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
