The Head and the Heart
The Head and the Heart bring their 15th Anniversary Tour to Wolf Trap’s Filene Center on July 26, 2026, celebrating the milestone with a performance of their self-titled debut album in its entirety, along with a selection of old and new favorites. The indie-folk collective, known for poignant songwriting, driving instrumentals, and signature harmonies, will be joined by opener Wilderado, whose folk-rock sound includes songs from their sophomore album *Talker*. The evening also offers VIP packages with premium or general admission tickets, a private pre-show performance, a group photo opportunity, exclusive merch, a commemorative laminate, crowd-free merch shopping, and a donation to the River and Roads Foundation.

Parking: Free but limited. ADA parking is available upon arrival; contact the National Park Service at 703.255.1820 for questions. Carpooling is encouraged. The Wolf Trap Shuttle runs from McLean Metro station for $5 roundtrip. Note that Exit 15 on Route 267 (Dulles Toll Road) often has heavy traffic; consider alternate routes like Route 7.
What to Bring: Guests may bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol, for picnicking on the lawn or in the park. In-house seat holders must use spill-safe reusable cups available at concessions and cannot take food to their seats. Chairs are allowed only at the top of the lawn; look for signs marking designated chair areas.
Dining: On-site options include picnicking, the al fresco buffet at Ovations Restaurant (reservations recommended), and concessions offering grab-and-go meals, snacks, and drinks.
Accessibility: FM loop amplification headsets are available at no charge; ask an usher upon arrival. Sign language interpretation can be arranged with at least one week advance notice by emailing accessibility@wolftrap.org. CART (Communication Access Real Time Translation) is provided when requests are made three weeks in advance.
Run time: Not provided; the concert begins at 8 PM with an opener and a full set from the headliner.
