Master Class with William Porter
On Saturday morning, September 5, 2026, Trinity Episcopal Church in Staunton will host a free master class led by William Porter, a professor at the Eastman School of Music. The session gives participants a chance to play for Porter and receive his coaching in a public workshop setting. Admission is free, and the class runs from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Those interested in performing should contact Virginia Bolena, Director of Music at Trinity Church; as of mid-July, three participant slots were still open. Parking is available in the church lot on Johnson Street, between Church and Lewis Streets.
