Local to Global: Midwifery Models of Care is a one-day convening examining how midwifery models can improve care quality, equity, and access in the United States and internationally. The program brings together midwives, health system leaders, advocates, researchers, policymakers, and implementers to compare local and global approaches and identify practical ways to strengthen midwifery care.

The event features plenary discussions, fireside conversations, case presentations, and panels addressing hospital-based care, birth centers, group care, policy and advocacy, and primary healthcare models. Facilitated breakout sessions will focus on practical challenges including funding, staffing, referrals, health system integration, and clinical quality.
