Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively Latin dance night to Bossa Bistro & Lounge, led by percussionist and vocalist Alfredo Mojica, a longtime presence in Washington’s salsa community. Born in Central America, Mojica began performing at an early age and has worked with acclaimed artists including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards with an expressive, romantic style. He is joined by a rotating group of skilled musicians for an energetic set of salsa, bachata, merengue, and related Latin dance music. Guests are encouraged to come ready to dance.
