Friday Night Services at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue on Friday, August 7, 2026, is a free and inclusive Shabbat experience co-led by Rabbi Jenna Shaw and guest Rabbi Jason Kimelman-Block. The evening pairs contemporary worship with familiar Shabbat elements, offering uplifting music, a thought-provoking sermon, and a pre-service happy hour. It is particularly suited to Shabbat newcomers or anyone looking for an unexpected way to unwind, and it also gives attendees a chance to meet Rabbi Kimelman-Block before he co-leads the 5787 High Holiday services.

Doors Open: 6:00 pm.

Schedule: Pre-service happy hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by the service at 7:00 pm.

Tickets: Admission is free, but registration is required; register online.
