Garbo

Garbo is a world-premiere theatrical production from Venezuelan playwright Gustavo Ott, presented in Spanish with English surtitles at GALA Hispanic Theatre. The play tells the story of a frustrated theatre dreamer who becomes one of World War II's most brilliant double agents, using performance, illusion, and audacity to build an elaborate deception that helps mislead the Nazi regime. Blending cinematic and metatheatrical elements, the work explores imagination as a form of resistance and art as a weapon. Original music is by Koki Lortkipanidze, and the production is directed by Carlos Celdrán.

Showtimes: Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm.

Noche de GALA and Press Night: Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 8 pm; for Noche de GALA, the ticket price is the chosen ticket price plus $5 per person.
