Garbo
Garbo is a world-premiere theatrical adventure based on a true story. It follows a frustrated aspiring theater artist who becomes one of World War II’s most effective double agents, using acting, illusion, and daring to construct an elaborate deception against the Nazi regime. The production examines imagination as a form of resistance and art as a weapon through a cinematic, metatheatrical style.
The play is presented in Spanish with English surtitles, with original music by Koki Lortkipanidze and direction by Carlos Celdrán. A talk-back with playwright Gustavo Ott and director Carlos Celdrán will follow the September 6 performance.
