Betrayal

Betrayal is a theatrical production by Nobel Prize–winning playwright Harold Pinter, presented by 1st Stage and directed by Alex Levy. The drama follows Emma, Robert, and Jerry, whose intertwined history is revealed in reverse chronological order as Emma’s marriage to Robert ends and she reconnects with Jerry, her former lover and Robert’s best friend. The production explores concealed truths, memory, time, intimacy, and the gap between what people say and what remains unspoken.
