George Clanton brings gleaming electronic pop shaped by nostalgia to Black Cat. The Los Angeles artist builds his sound by exploring synthesizer presets, melodies, and gauzy textures in search of music that evokes a memory or emotional response. His direct, raw, and often spontaneous lyrics combine with those dreamy sounds to create an immersive, comforting filter for the listener’s own memories.
Ryan Hemsworth is also on the bill.
