Dan Hovey

Dan Hovey performs an acoustic set that draws from the fingerstyle approach of John Fahey while ranging across roots and popular music. His repertoire includes songs associated with Bob Dylan, Leon Russell, Mark Knopfler, the Rolling Stones, and the Beatles, along with an expanding selection of his own instrumental and vocal compositions.

He has performed the Hank Dietle’s Tavern Happy Hour for more than four years, developing a more open-ended style over time.
