The Grandsons Present Special Guest: Tom Meltzer

The Grandsons welcome veteran singer-songwriter and guitarist Tom Meltzer for an evening of roots and Americana music. Meltzer’s career spans more than four decades, including his time fronting the acclaimed New York roots band 5 Chinese Brothers, which toured internationally and appeared on *World Cafe*, *Mountain Stage*, and VH1.

Now based in North Carolina, Meltzer will perform music from his first solo album, *Nice Things*, a 16-song acoustic collection recorded entirely at home, with Meltzer playing every instrument and singing every vocal part. The Grandsons bring their eclectic “American music in a blender” style, combining original compositions with influences from earlier musical traditions.
