BSO - Gala with Samara Joy
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra opens its 2026–27 season with a gala led by Music Director Jonathon Heyward and featuring five-time GRAMMY® Award–winning jazz vocalist Samara Joy. Joy will reinterpret standards associated with Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and other jazz greats.
The program also highlights the BSO’s education and community work throughout Maryland, with special appearances by student musicians from BSO OrchKids and the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra.
