The Nth Power

The Nth Power brings a high-energy fusion of soul, funk, rock, and rhythm and blues to Jammin Java. The seasoned trio—guitarist Nick Cassarino, bassist Nate Edgar, and drummer Nikki Glaspie—combines intricate musicianship with layered vocal harmonies and a deeply celebratory live sound intended to get audiences dancing, grooving, or simply absorbed in the performance.

Formed in New Orleans during Jazz Fest, the band has built a reputation for uplifting, spiritually charged concerts. Following its 2013 breakout EP, *Basic Minimum Skills Test*, The Nth Power released two studio albums and two live albums and received coverage from outlets including *Relix*, *Modern Drummer*, *Huffington Post*, *Glide*, *Consequence*, *Okayplayer*, *Paste*, and SiriusXM. The members’ previous collaborations include work with Beyoncé, Snarky Puppy, Maceo Parker, Dumpstaphunk, Big Daddy Kane, and John Brown’s Body. The group has also appeared at Electric Forest, High Sierra, Peachfest, North Coast Music Festival, and Hulaween, while maintaining New Orleans as an important musical and spiritual home.
