Mya Byrne
Mya Byrne brings a bluesy, glam-inflected take on Americana to Hank Dietle’s Tavern, combining folk-rock storytelling, countrypolitan shimmer, and the raw drive of 1970s proto-punk. Her music balances honeyed vocals with grit, pairing cinematic emotional depth and expressive guitar work with songs about belonging, love, home, open landscapes, neon-lit city streets, and intimate personal moments.
Byrne’s 2023 LP, *Rhinestone Tomboy*, is noted for its queer reimagining of alt-country and has received attention from *No Depression*, *Rolling Stone*, and other publications. Her sound draws comparisons to Ziggy-era David Bowie and Crosby, Stills & Nash while retaining a timeless yet urgent character.
