THE FOOL

The Fool is a tarot-themed comedy show set in the intimate Red Room at Black Cat, pairing stand-up comedy with live tarot readings for a night that is equal parts affirming and teasing. The show is built around the idea of letting the cards do the talking, inviting audience members to bring along a friend who is stuck in a situationship or dealing with a toxic boss. Comedian Maddie and tarot reader Skye Marinda team up to read themselves and the audience, creating a playful, interactive evening where laughter and insight go hand in hand.

During the show, lucky and brave audience members are invited onstage to receive an encouraging tarot reading from local witch Skye Marinda. That supportive moment is then balanced by a loving roast from comedian Maddie, so each volunteer gets both a dose of cosmic guidance and a good-natured ribbing. It is a show designed for friends who need a nudge in the right direction—or at least a fun night out.
