Basic Relief Printmaking

Basic Relief Printmaking is a four-session introductory workshop in relief printmaking, taught by Karen La Du at the Arts Club of Washington. Over four Saturday mornings, participants learn to design, carve, ink, and hand-pull an edition of original prints, exploring the creative possibilities of the medium. The class is limited to 15 students, ensuring individual attention.

Instructor: Karen La Du leads the workshop, guiding students through the entire relief printing process.

When: Saturdays, 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, on September 19, September 26, October 3, and October 10, 2026.

Tickets: Registration is $150 for Arts Club of Washington members and $180 for non-members. Payment is required at the time of registration and cannot be charged to member accounts.

Run time: Each session lasts 2.5 hours, for a total of 10 hours of instruction across the four weeks.
