College Park Community Food Bank Benefit Recital
The College Park Community Food Bank Benefit Recital brings together the University of Maryland Brass Quintet and Song Collective for an evening of chamber music supporting food-insecurity relief in the College Park area. Presented by the UMD School of Music, the recital is intended to raise awareness of the College Park Community Food Bank and collect donations for its work providing food to individuals and families in need.
The program features performances by students and faculty-connected musicians, including brass repertoire and Song Collective’s ensemble combining flugelhorn, piano and bass. Admission is free, with a suggested $25 donation benefiting the food bank. Attendees may also enter a drawing to win a College Park Community Food Bank water bottle.

Tickets: Free admission; no tickets are required. A suggested donation of $25 may be made by cash or check at the recital hall door or online.

Purpose: Donations support the College Park Community Food Bank, an independent nonprofit established in 2021 that provides food to anyone in need without qualification. The organization currently serves an average of about 300 families each week and relies on community donations, food contributions and volunteers.
Drawing: One attendee will have the opportunity to win a College Park Community Food Bank water bottle.
Accessibility: The Clarice offers wheelchair-accessible seating, size-inclusive seating, large-print programs, assisted-listening devices, adult and child-friendly sensory packs, and quiet spaces upon request. ASL interpretation, audio description and captioning are available for select events or by patron request at least six weeks in advance.
