The Seldom Scene

The veteran bluegrass band The Seldom Scene brings more than five decades of musical innovation to The Leila Gordon Theatre. The group performs original songs, traditional bluegrass, and creative reinterpretations of material by artists including Merle Haggard and James Taylor.

Known for combining fiery instrumental playing with soulful, adventurous arrangements, The Seldom Scene helped broaden bluegrass beyond its traditional boundaries while preserving the intimacy and energy of its live performances. Their influence has helped shape the modern bluegrass revival.
