JOHN CAFFERTY & THE BEAVER BROWN BAND

John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band bring their long-running Rhode Island rock ’n’ roll sound to the Birchmere. The multi-platinum group is known for “On the Dark Side,” “Tough All Over,” “C-I-T-Y,” and soundtrack appearances including *Eddie & The Cruisers*, *Rocky IV*, and *Ricky Stanicky*.

Formed in 1973, the band achieved major success in the 1980s after the *Eddie & The Cruisers* soundtrack sold more than three million copies and earned triple-Platinum certification. Their 1985 album *Tough All Over* produced another Billboard Rock chart-topper, while John Cafferty’s “Hearts on Fire” appeared in *Rocky IV*. The band has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures, was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2012, and continues to tour with its catalog of classic hits and newer material.
