John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band bring their legendary heartland rock to the Birchmere for a single show on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The Rhode Island band, known for their Triple Platinum soundtrack for the film *Eddie & The Cruisers*, has been performing together since 1973 and continues to tour with an energetic live show. Their hit “On the Dark Side” spent five weeks at #1 on the Billboard Rock charts, and they have placed 35 songs in major motion pictures, including “Hearts on Fire” in *Rocky IV*. In 2012 they were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame, and in 2025 they released a new album of original songs, *Sound of Waves*, whose lead single “Day in the Sun” appears in the Peter Farrelly film *Ricky Stanicky*. The band’s Greatest Hits collection is available on all streaming platforms via Sony Music as of 2026.
