The Secrets of Easter Island Finally Revealed!
Picnic Theatre Company and the Embassy of France present *The Secrets of Easter Island Finally Revealed!*, a humorous theatrical investigation into the mysteries surrounding Easter Island and its monumental stone idols. Written and directed by Steve Rochlin, the performance travels across centuries, examining supernatural explanations involving extraterrestrials, inter-dimensional beings, and lost civilizations before pursuing the truth through a cast of explorers, entrepreneurs, journalists, scholars, and relentless truth seekers.
The production is part of Picnic Theatre Company’s site-specific “party theater” tradition, combining an arts-venue setting with cocktails and a live performance. The company’s volunteer performers include Washington professionals, journalists, and diplomats, and proceeds from its productions support museums as well as arts and education charities.

Security: Every attendee must have a reservation in their own name and present a government-issued photo ID matching the name on the ticket. Guests should bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or a ticket displayed on a phone and allow additional time for screening.
Prohibited items: Umbrellas, large bags, backpacks, animals, liquids, food, blunt objects, helmets, and other items considered dangerous by Embassy security are not permitted and may be confiscated.
Parking: There is no on-site parking. Metered parking on Reservoir Road costs $2.30 per hour, with a four-hour maximum until 10:00 p.m. Garage parking is available at Georgetown MedStar Health via Entrance 2 at 2800 Reservoir Road NW, at approximately $25 for up to three hours.
