Jiaoying Summers brings her Lucky Pony 26 Tour to DC Improv for a stand-up performance built around sharp observations on identity, race, gender, cultural clashes, and motherhood. Drawing on her experiences as a first-generation immigrant, Summers explores what separates people, what connects them, and what it means to belong.

An award-winning comedian and Asian Hall of Fame inductee, Summers recently released the Hulu special “What Specie Are You?” and was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” for 2025. She became the first Chinese comedian to headline and sell out New York City’s Apollo Theater, has amassed more than 1 billion social-media views and over 5 million followers, and is known for viral material including the “Uber Karen” sketch and her comic takes on English names from a Chinese perspective. She also hosts the “Tiger Mom” podcast and owns The Hollywood Comedy and The Green Room Comedy Café.

When: September 4–6, 2026

Showtimes: Friday at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets: $35 general admission or $77.50 VIP, with service charges included. VIP includes preferred seating and a post-show meet-and-greet.
