Bella Kay: The Reckless Tour
Bella Kay: The Reckless Tour brings Houston-born pop artist Bella Kay to 9:30 Club for an intimate, emotionally direct performance. Her music examines heartbreak, isolation, self-doubt, and resilience through fuzzy alternative-pop textures, vulnerable songwriting, and warm guitar hooks.
Bella developed her musical voice while frequently moving across Texas as a child, using humor and introspection to navigate life as a biracial “new girl.” She sang in choir, acted in musical theater, wrote stories, and later taught herself guitar through online tutorials. After sharing original songs at high school open mics and posting music on TikTok in 2025, she began pursuing music seriously following a difficult breakup and a reconsideration of her pre-law studies.
Her breakout song, “The Sick,” became a viral success, reaching more than 150 million streams and 2 billion TikTok views. The song appeared on her November 2025 debut EP, *sick to my stomach*, alongside “Lonely.” Her second EP, *a couple minutes out*, arrived in February 2026 and focuses on longing, unhealthy romantic patterns, and the struggle to care for oneself. The project includes “Steady” and “Iloveitiloveitiloveit,” the latter of which earned Bella her first Billboard Hot 100 appearance and accumulated more than 125 million streams and 1 billion TikTok views.
