Viva

Viva brings a high-energy power-trio rock performance to Millennium Stage at the REACH. Led by guitarist and vocalist Viva, the group pairs expressive, highly theatrical guitar playing and sharp songwriting with deep, groove-driven arrangements. Their music channels anger and frustration into a sound that is ultimately joyful and expansive.

Since emerging in 2018, the band has built a following as an underground favorite, known for transforming clubs, warehouses, and street parties with their large, energetic sound. The group has received praise for its virtuosic guitar work and songwriting from publications including The New York Times, Glide Magazine, Vintage Guitar, and ArtForum.

Venue logistics: Guests may bring a picnic to the REACH’s outdoor areas when no event is taking place there. Coolers must be 16 quarts or smaller, and personal chairs must be no more than 36 inches high.

Policies: Grills, glass containers, outside alcohol, personal fireworks, firearms, and drones are prohibited on the Kennedy Center campus. Alcohol may be purchased only from authorized Kennedy Center providers and must remain within their operating areas.

Pets: Leashed pets are permitted outdoors at the REACH, and owners must clean up after them. Pets are not allowed inside Kennedy Center buildings, though service animals are permitted indoors and outdoors.
