Violet Vibes: A Community Celebration

Violet Vibes: A Community Celebration is a family-oriented gathering at The Wharf marking ten years of the National Museum of African American History and Culture’s guiding vision, “A People’s Journey, A Nation’s Story.” The celebration reflects on stories that have shaped America and the full complexity of the African American lived experience.

Guests are invited to wear their favorite shade of purple and join this community celebration, which is part of the museum’s “The Reunion” series.
