Lord Huron, the atmospheric indie-folk band led by Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Ben Schneider, brings their cinematic sound to The Anthem on August 2, 2026. Formed in 2010 after Schneider self-released the EPs *Into the Sun* and *Mighty*, the project quickly grew into a full live band with Mark Barry (percussion), Miguel Briseño (bass), and Tom Renaud (guitar). Their debut LP *Lonesome Dreams* (2012) was followed by *Strange Trails* (2015), which yielded the multi-platinum single “The Night We Met,” one of Spotify’s top 40 most-streamed songs of all time. The 2018 album *Vide Noir* earned a Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top 200, and their most recent LP *Long Lost* garnered praise from NPR, *Time*, *Los Angeles Times*, *Spin*, and *Stereogum*, along with performances on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon*, *Jimmy Kimmel Live!*, *The Late Late Show with James Corden*, and *CBS This Morning: Saturday*. The band has headlined storied venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Ryman Auditorium, and has appeared at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands. Opening the show is August Ponthier.
