Slice of History: Museum & Trivia Night

Ford’s Theatre opens its doors after-hours for "Slice of History: Museum & Trivia Night," a free Civic Season event that combines self-guided exploration of historic sites with interactive trivia and socializing. Guests can explore the Petersen House and Aftermath Exhibits, participate in a scavenger hunt, chat with National Park Service Rangers and theatre staff, and enjoy free pizza and snacks before a lively game of Lincoln and Civics Trivia. A Wish Wall invites attendees to share their hopes for the future in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

When: June 26, 2026, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Schedule: 5 – 6:30 p.m. Explore the Petersen House, exhibits, and engagement stations; 6 p.m. Free pizza and snacks, cash bar, trivia team sign-up; 7 – 8 p.m. Trivia!
Tickets: Free, but advance registration is closed. A limited number of same-day tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lineup: Activities include guided exploration, a scavenger hunt, engagement stations, free pizza and snacks, a cash bar, and a team or solo trivia game. Trivia sign-up occurs upon arrival; a Team-Up Table is available for those seeking to join a group.
Run time: 3 hours total.
Ages: 21+ event.
